Scott has fifteen years experience as an independent consulting forester. He oversees all aspects of our consulting business, and presently manages some 150,000 acres of privately owned timberland in Arkansas, Louisiana, East Texas, and Oklahoma. His responsibilities include complete management services on private timberlands and appraisal and acquisition of timberland for clients and others. Scott has his private pilot’s license and performs all of our aerial inspections.

Neill Forestry Consultants was founded in 1966 by Bobby J. Neill to offer independent, professional timber management and consultant services to private landowners in South Arkansas, North Louisiana, East Texas, and Oklahoma. We work for and in the best interest of the private landowner. Our business has grown and progressed over the past thirty-nine years to the point where we manage some 150,000 acres for almost 300 landowners. We have a staff of four graduate foresters and one graduate forest technician and three office employees. Additionally, we contract landline work and all tree planting and improvement work. All timber cruising and appraisals and all timber marking are done by our staff of well-trained professionals. Collectively our consulting staff has over 120 years of experience in the proper management and record-keeping of private timberlands.
