Ecological Conservation Organization Updated:09/2013

The Ecological Conservation Organization (ECO) is an Arkansas based and operated environmental non-profit organization.  The mission of the organization is very straight forward and simple, “Restore natural ecosystems through research, restoration, and advocacy.”
ECO was founded in 2004 by some of the most dedicated conservationists in Arkansas.  The core of the ECO team are native Arkansans that have been leading and working in the state’s conservation movement all of their life.  The organization was created to address the state’s need for inovative and smart action in the environment field, based on sound science that can provide and promote progressive ecological management and the restoration of more natural habitat conditions.  ECO uses this science base to advocate environmental policies that balance communities and the environment.
