Since graduating from law school in 2001, F. Mattison Thomas, III has practiced law throughout South Arkansas, proudly representing both individual and corporate clients in State and Federal Courthouses as well as many various administrative law settings. Matt began his law practice in a firm setting and in 2010 decided to open his own office in an attempt to eliminate many of the various conflicts which occur in a firm setting.
Matt has chosen to dedicate a large part of his practice several fields of law which many other lawyers in the area do not handle. Those areas include:
Agricultural Law:
Representing farmers in various matters including Federal Crop insurance claims, H2A worker disputes, Arkansas state and Federal department of labor claims, contract negotiations, and criminal defense involving issues specific to the farming industry.
Oil and Gas:
Representing producers and mineral owners in claims in both State and Federal Court and administrative claims before the Arkansas State Oil and Gas Commission , as well as providing title opinions and drafting and interpreting leases specific to the Oil and Gas industry.
