Turner Bend, where the National Wild and Scenic Mulberry River meets the Pig Trail National Scenic Byway. For over one hundred years travelers have stopped at this spot to admire the river, forests and mountains. The Mulberry River is known for excellent whitewater floating with class II rapids flowing deep in the Ozarks. The Pig Trail is a twisting, curving drive through the Ozarks with views from the valley floor to mountain top vistas.
The Turner Bend campground is directly across the road from our store and features 14 designated sites plus a small overflow area. Nine sites have shelters and all have picnic tables and fire rings. The Turner Bend Cottage is a quaint two story bungalow with two bedrooms. It is tucked into the hillside overlooking the Mulberry River.
