Discover the Swiss winemaking heritage of Wiederkehr Wine Cellars. The oldest and largest winery in mid-America, Wiederkehr Wine Cellars is located on the southern slopes of the Ozark Mountains. Here atop St. Mary's Mountain is where the Wiederkehr family carries on a tradition begun in 1880. Lovingly tended vineyards surround the winery, designed in the Swiss alpine style overlooking the Arkansas River valley. Stop by our Bistro and Liquor Store right on I-40 at exit 41. At the Swiss Family Bistro, enjoy delicious Swiss specialties and American favorites cooked to order. Our gift shop offers wine accessories plus a variety of gifts. In the liquor store, you'll find everything from wine and beer to your favorite liquors. The bistro, gift shop, and liquor store are open 7 days a week, and we have free wireless internet access. Come in for a free wine tasting!
