Located on the famed Cache River in Northeast Arkansas, CACHE RIVER MALLARD FARMS consist of nearly 5,000 acres of rice fields managed for premier duck hunting. Since we are farmers, we can control the flooding of our property. This allows us to utilize rain water, but never depend on it as many outfitters do.
Your experience on our property will be heightened by WOODY'S GUIDED HUNTS who will take you each morning before daylight, using ATV's, and put you in one of our many pit blinds.
Our guides are very experienced and professional. They will host as well as call and retrieve your birds while passing along their secrets of rice field hunting in Northeast Arkansas.
This year will have 14 underground pits flooded, which allows us to take you where the ducks are, rather than sit in the only pit available and wait on the ducks.
Location: Cache River Mallard Farms is only 1 ½ hours from Memphis, TN or
Little Rock, AR.
All of our fields are approximately 7 miles east of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, just off US 412.
Groups: Woody's Guided Hunts usually hosts no more than 4 groups per day. This allows us to spread the groups out and give everyone an optimum chance to kill their limit of ducks.
Our pits are comfortable and accommodate 4 to 8 hunters. This gives each hunter the best chance to kill ducks and have fun, while maintaining gun safety.
A typical hunt at Cache River Mallard Farms will you with a limit of birds by 9:00 and we only hunt until noon to give the ducks and fields a chance to rest.
Bird processing is available for an additional fee. If you prefer to clean the birds yourself, we have facilities for this at your convenience.
